Dr. Jake Berman, PT, DPT

Dr. Jake Berman is a biomechanics expert (Doctor of Physical Therapy) and literally wrote the book (The Berman Method of Golf Performance) on how to move better so that you can hit the ball further and strike the ball more consistently.

Dr. Berman originally opened Berman Physical Therapy in 2015 which specializes in helping people aged 50+ avoid surgery and pain pills while maintaining the highest quality of life possible. Over the years of helping 100’s of people aged 65-75 become stronger and pain free, one thing for sure has become apparent.

Over the years Dr. Berman started to help tons of golfers and he started to see a connection between the strength and mobility of specific joints and muscle groups and reported improvements in distance and consistency. This led to further independent research by Dr. Berman and ultimately the development of The Berman Method of Golf Performance! This method was originally developed specifically for aging golfers who have been plagued with losing distance, horrible shot consistency, or even just not being able to play as frequently as they’d like.

Dr. Berman's original focus with Berman Golf was to specifically help aging golfers move better so they could hit the ball farther, strike the ball more consistently, and play more frequently without nagging aches and pains. This was all the motivation Dr. Berman needs as there's nothing more rewarding than helping a golfer regain their confidence and competitive edge when most others use age as an excuse and give up altogether.

Case Bryant

Case Bryant was inspired to pursue this career from playing golf with his aging grandfather when he was younger. As he watched his grandfather's game deteriorate over the years, Case knew that his grandfather was working much harder to swing the golf club than previously and only getting a fraction of the positive results. This is what led Case to investigate the world of biomechanics and ultimately how to swing the golf club as the body should move.

Case is the most highly certified golf professional in Southwest Florida. He holds numerous certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute, including Golf Level 3, Power Level 2, Medical Level 2, Fitness Level 2, Junior Level 2, and golf biomechanics. Additionally, he is PGA ADM (American Development Model) certified, a PGA Associate, and has advanced certifications in Trackman Level 2, K-Vest, Foresight, and Swing Catalyst, among others

As our Director of Instruction, Case joined the team and helped refine the original Berman Method which focused entirely on biomechanics for aging golfers, by incorporating advanced technical aspects and movements, significantly improving the overall performance capabilities of our golfers. He also helped expand the Berman Method to golfers of all ages.
