Episode 7: The Core Of Berman Golf
What are we actually teaching
(1:14) What do we specialize in at berman golf?
(1:25) we have several cases where golfers are coming in gaining 50 yards off the tee
(1:50) we specialize in helping golfers over the age of 60 gain distance off the tee.
(2:00) Jake talks about how he has been working with a client who came in maxing his 7 iron out at 84 yards with a 60mph CHS and today he had a max of 135 yards with a CHS of 63 mph! THATS 51 YARDS WITH HIS 7 IRON!
(3:00) Adding distance to your game easily takes away the pressure off other parts of your game, as well as your attitude changes.
(3:38) It’s not all about swinging it fast, it’s about power.
(3:50) Power is the lowest hanging fruit in aging golfers.
(4:00) Speed is irrelevant if you don’t have anything behind it.
(8:00) We need to focus on using our muscles to generate power, which leads to further drives.
(10:50) Don’t use your hands, use your core!
(11:00) There are so many moving parts in your golf game.
(13:00) Stay in your cylinder and establish a good foundation.
(16:30) Practice makes permanent!
(17:20) There’s no reason why you can’t be 75, 85 years old enjoying the game!
(18:00) Berman Golf changes the way it’s supposed to be!
(19:30) Changing from a defensive player to an offensive player.
(24:00) One way to think about swinging with your core… Hint:Initiate the backswing and downswing with your Belt Buckle!
(25:00) Don’t think about swinging the club head!!! Relax your hands..
